A brief about Sriharsha Majety

Swiggy’s co-founder Sriharsha Majety. He holds two graduate degrees:

One from the renowned Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani. He earned a degree in electrical engineering there.

Second was from the prestigious IIM Calcutta, an MBA.

Sriharsha Majesty was born and raised in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. His father worked for the government, and his mother was a housewife. Majety was the youngest of three older brothers and is a member of the Telugu-speaking population, which appeared to be India’s largest ethnic group. 

He had previously worked for three years in an IT company. He oversaw the IT department at this place and later helped create the business’s first mobile app. He had developed a keen interest in technology from a young age, and by the time he was in the fifth grade, he had even built a computer from scratch with the assistance of his father.

He led the robotics team at his school as its captain. He proceeded to the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani to study electrical engineering. Later, he and two other people—Nandan Reddy and Rahul Jain—co-founded Swiggy.

A brief about Nandan Reddy

Nandan was raised in an entrepreneurial household and was born in Hyderabad. While his father began an import-export company, his grandpa was renowned for successfully constructing the company.

When he was in the fifth grade, Nandan even established a business – selling stationery products while working as an intern at his father’s business, demonstrating a keen interest in the industry from a young age.

Following his graduation from IIT Madras, he worked as a software engineer at Infosys, one of India’s leading IT service providers. He later went on to study computer science.

He quit Infosys in 2009 to pursue an MBA. He did, however, co-found Bundl with Sriharsha before co-founding Swiggy with Majety and Rahul.

A brief about Rahul Jain

Rahul’s parents were both doctors and he was born in Jaipur. His mother is an ophthalmologist, and his father was a pediatrician. He is joined by two older siblings.

Like many others, he was interested in technology from a young age. After graduating from IIT Madras, he worked as a software engineer for Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. Amazingly, he did, however, leave Microsoft to obtain an MBA.

Later, he along with Majety and Reddy co-founded Swiggy, which first served as a food delivery service for restaurants in Bangalore.
